Why didn't you use the word "neck" instead of "nape"? He was shot in the neck! Also, nobody rides IN a motorcycle. He rides ON a motorcycle while you ride IN a car or truck.
You are aware that English spoken in the Philippines is somewhat different than you speak as it is different in India, England, Australia and others.
Of course I know that after 8 years in the country. It does not change the fact that the language is often incorrect. That is sometimes why the laws are incomprehensible to many. "Nape" is correct but I have not heard that word used in conversation in my entire life, other than when someone or something is 'held by the nape of the neck' although the more common expression would be, 'scruff of the neck.'
