NSO seeks support for 2010 census

The National Statistics Office (NSO) in Bukidnon called on all families to support the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) conducted by the agency that started May 17.

Provincial Statistics Officer Eddie Nasol said the participation of all households in this mission is crucial, as the government planners and policymakers will use the obtained data as basis in the distribution of resources and revenues, creation of political and administrative units, and in redistricting and allotment of congressional seats.

He likewise emphasized the importance of the census data in businesses and academic research.
