LGU Malaybalay donates medical equipment to Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malaybalay City recently donated medical equipment to the Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center (BPMC) located in Brgy. Casisang.

In a press release, the LGU Malaybalay said the donated items were a one-unit Fresenius Hemodialysis Machine and one-unit Portable RO for single-pass dialysis with kits and accessories.

Executive Assistant IV Brian Nelson T. Flores, who represented his father, Malaybalay City Mayor Florencio Flores, Jr., along with City Health Office staff, turned over the said equipment to BPMC medical staff on August 20.

The LGU said the assistance is worth PhP 1.095 million.

The donation aims to help augment medical needs and equipment to BPMC which are crucial for the
treatment of patients due to health complications of Covid-19.

Being a doctor by profession, Mayor Flores expressed the importance of supplying vital health instruments to our Covid-19 referral hospitals where these will help save more lives.
